Would it be feasible to put two large buttons on the home page, one for MSFS2020 and the other for MSFS2024 so it might be possible to completely separate the two versions in the UI? I have made the mistake and can imagine others doing this at times, crossing MSFS2020 and 2024 files while downloading new and updated files due to the current UI structure. The UI makes this possible at times with MSFS2020 and 2024 version files combined in a single (or even separate) published files utilizing different download buttons for each posting. At times these buttons also reverse the versions. For example, now-a-days the larger button typically represents the 2024 version and the smaller button the 2020 version but sometimes I’ve found this gets reversed, the larger button being the 2020 version and the smaller button the 2024 button. Downloaded files typically end up in the end-user’s PC download folder in bulk (all together) if not managed otherwise. Hence, if the end-user is not careful with handling downloaded files, being no file naming ‘standard’ is utilized (I’ll post something separate on this too) files can be inadvertently installed to the wrong simulator creating a nail-biting mess to fix (a hard lesson learned but now much wiser for it).

UI Separation of MSFS 2020 and 2024 Files

I have been using <a target="_blank" rel="noopener noreferrer nofollow" class="link" href="http://flightsim.to">flightsim.to</a> for the past couple years and have found it my go to site for addons. In-fact not only is it my go to, it’s my only. However, I have recently been plagued with pop up ads which block the entire screen and take 5 seconds before I can close them. These very annoying and irrelevant ads appear on every click of the mouse, and reappear every 10 or so seconds meaning it is almost impossible to read something or look at a picture. This is very frustrating and ruins such a nice site.I hope to see this fixed shortly.

Hi, so these are somethings which honestly bothers me and other creators a bit… 1) the impossibility to change name to a main file after initial release, you can only change it while releasing the mod the first time. 2) The impossibility to set the same version number for multiple uploads within a mod, this creates confusion among users which comment asking if each version is updated or not.

The available options to sort by “Recent Releases” and “New Updates” do not allow the user to see all recently uploaded items on one page. Adding another sort by date option would allow users to see all new and updated items by the date they were most recently uploaded to the website. There is no reason to separate new and updated items when sorting by date.

Hi this feature was present in older <a target="_blank" rel="noopener noreferrer nofollow" class="link" href="http://fs.to">fs.to</a> versions, it was super usefull for creator in order to publish their mods in the right day and time even if away from home. this should come back in my opinion.

If you upload two or more files, it is possible to give each uploaded file a custom name, which appears on the actual download button. You can change that name for every additional file later, but it is not possible to do that for the main file. It would be nice, if this could be added.

I want the like/support count to be automatically removed or hidden when a comment is deleted by a moderator for rule violation (e.g., political/hateful content). Currently, the support count remains visible even after the comment is removed, which continues to show agreement with the rule-violating content. This is important for maintaining a positive community environment and ensuring moderation is fully effective.

I think it would be interesting if the creator of the request had to add a filter to indicate whether they want their request to be fulfilled for MSFS 2020, MSFS 2024 or both, especially for requests with platform credits as a reward. Some creators like me are still using MSFS 2020 and do not have MSFS 2024 for various reasons, whether due to preference or because their computer cannot run MSFS 2024. Furthermore, most requesters do not specify this in their description. Creators like me could miss out on rewards if the applicant only wants their livery for MSFS 2020.

Hi Fsto team, Wanted to share a feedback regarding the Thumbnail UI, the issue is that the UI (shape) changes depending on the page, example in the mod page the Thumbnail is showed squared, while in the main page is showed as a rectangle shrinking the image, the suggestion is simple to have a single Thumbnail Image Format, which should be the same regardless of the page shown. Sometimes creators have to publish the same add-on for both versions of MSFS (2020&amp;2024). You made it possible to create 2 and more download buttons for different files. But the thing is that some users don't pay attention to the difference between buttons and wrongly download incorrect version. In my opinion, it would be better to change the design of buttons or may be make the font size of the button name bigger. The problem is that certain users may give low ratings, just because the downloaded MSFS2020 version and copied it to MSFS2024.

Hello The search doesn’t work properly — as an example, try searching for Taylor Ranch Landing. The scenery map is really helpful for those of us who want to find scenery in a given area - for example if flying a round the world tour. However it was last updated in December 2024, meaning we are missing out on nearly half a year of scenery content. Please could you push an update.

Please maintain consistency with the UI and UX. I’d prefer the website stick to a stable design rather than changing it every 2–3 months. For example, moving the top bar back now makes it impossible to close certain tabs—like the notifications center—without the upper menu getting in the way. That seems like a basic UI/UX oversight. I really hope FS.to settles on a layout and commits to it.Additionally, the notifications center and alerts are now hidden on mobile—for no clear reason. I’m not sure why anyone would intentionally remove such a core feature. We now have to hit several more buttons and tabs to find it.
